Shanghai – A renowned international metropolis drawing more and more attention from all over the world. Situated on the estuary of Yangtze River, it serves as the most influential economic, financial, and cultural centre in East China. Also, it is a popular travel destination for visitors to sense the pulsating development of the country. In addition to its modernization the city's multicultural flair endows it with a unique glamour. Here, one finds the perfect blend of cultures, the modern and traditional.
With it's new skyscrapers and old Shikumen draw a dramatic skyline of the city. Western customs and Chinese traditions intertwined and formed the city's culture, making a visitor's stay memorable.

Suzhou & Hangzhou are of significant importance to the history of China
Suzhou - Located in southern Jiangsu Province in the centre of the Yangtze Delta. Shanghai lies to the east, Zhejiang Province to the south, Wuxi City to the west and the Yangtze River to the north. The city is divided by the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal from north to south. Since 42% area of the city is covered by water, including a vast number of ponds and streams, it is praised as the 'Venice of the Orient'. Built in 514 BC, this is an ancient city with over 2,500 years of history and numerous points of interest. The unique characteristics of the past are still retained today. The double-chessboard layout of the city, with 'the streets and rivers going side by side while the water and land routes running in parallel', is preserved intact.

Hangzhou - The capital city of Zhejiang province, Hangzhou is located in southeast China and about one hour drive (150 kilometres) from Shanghai. Contrasting to the hustle and bustle of Shanghai, Hangzhou is well-known for its extraordinary beauty and elegance. A popular Chinese saying boasts: "above there is heaven, on earth there is Hangzhou and Suzhou."

The serene loveliness of Hangzhou's West Lake (Xi Hu) and the surrounding hills remain spell binding. Millions of tourists visit here each year to admire the graceful willows, tranquil waters and expansive gardens. Besides the West Lake, Hangzhou is teeming with eye-catching sights. From places of major cultural and historic significance, like the Grand Canal and Six Harmonies Pagoda, to sites of striking natural beauty, such as the Qiantang River and Lingyin Temple, this is a destination sure to please anyone with an eye for aesthetics. Modern facilities and amenities contribute to making Hangzhou one of China's most popular visitor destinations.
