16 Day China & Tibet Tour
Visit: Beijing, Xi'an, Lhasa, Shigatse, Chengdu, Guilin, Shanghai:
There are many mountains in the world, but few have contained such a uniquely spiritual civilization as the Himalayas of Tibet. It’s hardly surprising that in the bleak but majestic landscape of Tibet’s highlands, the world of the spirit seems more real than the world of men. The silent landscapes of snow and ice, mountains, lakes and meadows have an unearthly beauty, inspiring veneration not only in the Tibetans for whom this beauty is a part of their everyday life, but in all those who experience it.
